AZ Tucson
Poets Square
Poets Square is one of those central Tucson neighborhoods that's easy to miss and hard to leave. It's a tidy half-mile square — Columbus to Swan, 5th Street down to Broadway — made up of around 530 single-family homes, most of them post-war builds from the 1940s through the '60s, back when Tucson was hitting its stride. That era gives the streets a consistent, human scale: real neighborhoods, not subdivisions. There's an active neighborhood association here too (and to be clear, it's an association, not an HOA — nobody's policing your paint color), with a Green Team planting trees, a traffic-and-safety group, and the occasional block party. For buyers who want midtown convenience with an actual sense of community attached, Poets Square punches above its size.
